Motion Computing announced today that they are refreshing the F5 Rugged Tablet PC and C5 Mobile Clinical Assistant with newer features and inclusion of Verizon WWAN. With wireless communications expanded users are able to travel between worksites without losing their internet connection, so they can keep working without interruption.

Both models are going to include more communications options including Intel 5300 series 802.11AGN, Intel Core 2 Duo configurations for better battery life and increased performance, and a new 64GB SSD upgrade option. The F5 now sports a new black finish to “better withstand dirty and dusty environments”. For users who normally go through a number of batteries throughout a workday, Motion now offers an external battery charger. The Motion F5 is currently listed for $2,699, and the C5 selling for $2,199.
